Everyone you meet, every day, is struggling to cope with life in this world. When people are tired, sick, afraid, or just overwhelmed with their failures and frustrations in life: they lie, they yell, they cheat, they blame; they are cold, angry, mean, jealous and deceitful. They forget, the truth everyone knows inside: there is more to life, so much more, beyond this temporary world. They don't know, most of what they do not have, most of what they can not do, is vastly overrated, and would neither satisfy them, nor even be worth the effort of their pursuit; because our desires often begin with the fear of missing out, and end with the realization of being duped, having anxiously chased after that which is devoid of any real value. Try to be happy today. Right now. Look around. Enjoy the simple things. The super-rich grow sick from overindulgence, weak, dull and sluggish from excessive leisure, bitter with disappointment from dead-end pleasures, blind to others, absorbed in themselves and their worries. You can grow in strength, confidence and contentment, better able to cope with the troubles you will face, by being grateful for the goodness and beauty in the world, the bright sun in the morning, the moon and stars at night, the sound of wind in a forest, the color of flowers in a field, the smell of fresh-cut grass, the taste of fresh-picked fruit, a cool drink of clean water when you are thirsty, a good night's sleep after a hard day's work. Do not rush through your day, wasting your energy. Slow down. Take time to plan. Get organized. Stop worrying. Do less, but do it better. Have less, but enjoy it more. Make the most of each day, being kind to others, patient, understanding and forgiving, in little ways that make a big difference, because life is sometimes hard, and there are so many people who need your help.

PLANNING
Before you can plan your future, you must understand your past. If you are human, you have made mistakes. Maybe you wish you could go back and do things over. Most people fail to reach their goals because they waste time worrying and waiting for some special inspiration to motivate them for one mighty blastoff they imagine is the only way they can win, someday. They plan to take BIG action.....tomorrow. But the day will never come when there is enough time to accomplish anything really big, while every day that goes by offers many opportunities to accomplish LITTLE parts of a big goal. Here is the secret to success: plan the big things not as one big effort, but as a hundred little efforts. Remember the metamorphosis of a beautiful butterfly. So many little changes, not one big one. Never worry that your daily efforts don’t seem big enough or impressive enough to ever succeed. That’s only true if you stop. Just keep doing a little EVERY DAY to get closer to your goals. That’s the only plan you need.
